Boudoir

Does your headshot tell your current story, or is it old and dated?

What would you do to be a successful actor?

If we’re honest, executives don’t have a whole lot of down-time. Schedules are hectic with back to back meetings, their time, after their expertise is their biggest commodity, I know, I used to be an IT and business consultant, that’s how I ended up living in NYC in the first place, a project with S&P brought me over, from the moment I landed my phone would hardly stop for texts, phone calls and emails. I can’t say that photographing executives is a lot less demanding but it certainly puts more smiles on faces.

A new c-suite headshot doesn’t have to take much of your executive team’s time. Once backgrounds and lighting are set in your office or lobby area, the time required per subject can be less than 5 minutes! Of course we’d love more however we will work with whatever you can give us. Just think about it, 5 minutes is as much time as it takes to grab a cup of coffee so why not grab a new executive headshot!

Your career is already your top priority, make making a lasting impression with your headshot, your next

Our Process

  1. We’ll agree on look and feel, specifically the background(s) and style(s)
  2. On the day I will setup and hour or two before the first executive is due to arrive in a convenient location
  3. Immediately after shooting, we will choose your favorite image(s) from several poses during the session
    • If for any reason you aren’t happy, we will immediately re-shoot
  4. I will edit the selected image(s) and deliver the final headshots to you.

It’s definitely worth a few minutes of your executive team’s time to create a cohesive, confident, professional look for your company.

What makes up a good headshot?

  • Reveals your personality
  • Depicts a relaxed, confident you
  • We will ask you who are you in this photo?
    • Who is the casting director looking at?
    • What character are you portraying?
  • Must be in Color (black and white is no longer acceptable)
  • Should NOT look like a Glamour Shot
    • You should look like your headshot in real life – maybe on your best day, sure, but look like you

Dressing for your Headshot

  • Stick with solid colors, and jewel and earth tones are always good. Heavy textures like wool, canvas, and linen are also great, as well as layers
  • Bring outfits for the types of character you want:
    • Lawyer, Doctor, Security Guard, Hippy
  • Wear a color that best brings out your features
  • Wear your hair like you will for live auditions
  • Minimal jewelry is acceptable for ladies. Small studs are fine – but big dangly earrings are not!
